Project Name: Pueblo Pintado Community School

This project consisted of a 71,000 sf kindergarten through eighth grade school for 387 students, and a 21,000 sf dormitory that houses 96, located on an 80 acre site. A 150,000 gallon elevated water storage tank for domestic use and fire suppression was constructed on site. The facility was designed to meet the requirements for a LEED Silver Certificate rating, and some of the features incorporated to accomplish this goal include ground source heat supply, daylighting via light shelves and solar tubes, sustainable and renewable materials, reflective roofing, and xeriscape landscape design.
